Berger Ammunition 6.5mm 144 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target bullet was specifically designed around the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. 6.5 Creedmoor fans have long touted that the ideal bullet weight for this cartridge in Precision Rifle competitions is somewhere between 140 and 150 grains. After experimenting with several designs and weights Berger engineering and ballistics team found that "sweet spot" at 144 grains and thus the 6.5mm 144 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target bullet was born. Berger went above and beyond with this design and not only found the ideal weight and profile but added our proprietary Meplat Reduction Technology process to the equation to further increase the BC while also reducing the BC Variation.
